The Studio
At Innovation North, we believe that addressing today’s complex challenges requires leaders to adopt a systems thinking mindset, allowing them to see the bigger picture, understand interdependencies, and craft sustainable and impactful solutions.
Although necessary, systems thinking is currently not commonly applied in educational systems or workplaces. Innovation North’s Studio is closing this gap by partnering with corporate partners to equip leaders with the knowledge, tools, and methodologies they need to make a difference on a global scale.
Each year, Innovation North’s Studio presents a new complex challenge for students to tackle in collaboration with a corporate partner. In 2024, the Challenge was ‘Reimagining Community, Visions for a Connected Future’ presented by Walmart Canada. For 2025, Innovation North is current inviting corporate partners to help shape the 2025 Challenge on the topic of mental health and wellness.
