I’m an academic, pursuing research at the intersection of future thinking and imagination, a facilitator, an educator, and a curriculum designer. I can contribute to Innovation North along these dimensions, when appropriate and required.

As scholars and practitioners, we have spent far too long trying to simplify problems, decompose issues, and “go at it alone.” The mindsets and approaches we pursuit at Innovation North help us respect the complexity of wicked problems, respect the totality of systems, and seek innovative ways of nudging the system in positive directions. These are fundamentally what excite me about the future: individuals, organizations, communities and governments, working together to create imagined and desired futures.
